Always ahead of her time, Helene Kostre brought acupuncture to Park Slope over 25 years ago. Today, she is still considered a cutting edge practitioner among her peers.
She has studied extensively with most of the formidable teachers and incorporates all of her training, knowledge and skill to assist in alleviating whatever ails you.
Helene treats a broad spectrum of issues. She connects with you, the individual, to best address what is going on within you.
She has specific expertise in Back Pain, Neck Pain, Plantar Fasciitis, PMS, Infertility, Sciatica ,TMJ, Headaches, Migraines, Anxiety, Depression, Allergies, Autoimmune Disorders, Constipation, Bloating, IBS, in addition to other digestive problems.
In addition to being skillful at acupuncture, Helene offers Nutrition Response Testing, (muscle testing to determine root cause of health issues), N.E.T. (neuro emotional technique), Gua Sha, Cupping, and Bio-set (allergy sensitivity testing and treatment). She also holds a bachelor’s degrees in Psychology and Women’s Studies, and a New York State License in Massage Therapy.
